Three Small Scoops was started by Tyler Small (me). I have many hobbies, some of which include Rock Climbing, cooking, sewing, crafting, designing, laser cutting, playing pool all around the city, and of course making ice cream and desserts.
If you go to First Ascent climbing gyms, there's a good chance you'll see me around, and I'm in various pool halls anywhere from 4-6 days a week. I try to keep myself pretty active. Not only do those hobbies fill my time, but I have Three Small Scoops and my recipe blog (which is coming soon) to fill the rest of my days.

We do not have gluten free options.
We do have a seasonal vegan option which changes from time to time. This is available in the summer and spring time on the normal menu and available only by special order in the off-season.
Yes we do! Every Thursday and Saturday we bake our products. We start with as raw of an ingredient as we can use (yes, we have to buy our chocolate bars and we don't go milling our own flour), but the recipes, processes, and products are all our own doing.
We also handled all of the design, labels, packaging, and photos for the social media pages. It's been a lot of work!
Not anymore!
When we first started we did work from our home under the cottage food laws in Illinois, but we're officially a commercial kitchen operation which enables wholesale and more variety of goods.
The ones we sell at are!
Chicago Bars have a bit of a history with vendors in the form of pop-ups and the Tamale Guy, so they've really blazed a path for us food entrepreneurs.
